We are delighted with the excellent results gained by our students in their A Level examinations this year.

49 students achieved all A*and A grades an outstanding achievement.

Students have gained access to a wide range of university courses and degree apprenticeships, including those with Manchester Airport, BAE, the Ministry of Defence and Carefour. 26 students are starting at Newcastle University and 20 at Lancaster University. 14 students are beginning courses at Oxford or Cambridge and 19 students are going on to study medicine, veterinary science and dentistry at university this year.

It is evident that the hard work of our students during their time at Clitheroe Royal Grammar School has been rewarded by these A Level results.

These achievements also reflect the dedication of our teachers and the quality of the support provided by our whole staff team. We are extremely proud of every one of our students and we would like to congratulate them all on their achievements.

The Sixth Form Team has once again shown why Clitheroe Royal Grammar School is one of the top centres to study A Levels in the North West.

We are incredibly proud of our Year 11 students who have collected their GCSE results today.  Despite the challenges which the last few years have brought them, they have continued to approach their learning with determination and hard work and have been rewarded with great results.

It has been wonderful to see our students celebrating with their families and friends.

With 38% of all examinations achieving a grade 8-9, our students have done incredibly well and can move to the next stage of their education with a real confidence in their knowledge and understanding across a range of subject areas.

In addition to this, our Year 11 students have shown a real commitment to our school, through their contributions to clubs and societies and also their leadership of other students as prefects, peer mentors and teaching and learning ambassadors.

Our students’ achievements also reflect the dedication of our teachers and the quality of the support provided by all our staff.  We are extremely proud of each and every one of our students and would like to congratulate them on all they have achieved.

We very much look forward to welcoming students back into our Sixth Form and to all our Year 11 students, we wish you a very happy and successful future.
