Sergeant Clement’s Inspirational Assembly
Sergeant Rick Clement, an ex-student of Clitheroe Royal Grammar School, was invited by our Year 10 Charity Committee to come and talk to our students at a Main School assembly. His story about his experiences in Afghanistan and the injuries that he sustained was inspirational to all. Having spent months and months recovering and adjusting, he now feels ready to give back to the world and raise money for wounded soldiers.

Cross-Curricular House Quiz (Geography and Maths)
Year 7 recently selected four members of their form group to represent their House in the first Cross-Curricular House Quiz. This quiz involved a range of challenging Geography questions and 2012 themed Maths questions. All teams worked extremely hard and gained ten House points for entering.
