On a beautiful, crisp, October afternoon the Hyndburn and Ribble Valley District Cross Country event took place at Wilson’s Playing Fields. After much hard work in PE lessons and a fantastic House Cross Country event, CRGS’s runners were in fine form and confident of performing well. There were some sensational runs from many students but the consistency of the team in recording brilliant times and placings was amazing. The students were a true credit to CRGS and we are extremely proud to report that they won convincingly and became District Champions!
Well done to the whole team: your hard work really paid off! Thank you also to the many parents who gave up their time to help marshal at the event.
