On Friday 24th March 2017, the Main School site hosted the annual Clitheronians’ Association quiz which was organised by CRGS alumni, led by Sir John Lewis.
The event was very popular and was attended by six student teams, two staff teams and several alumni teams. It was a very competitive evening and ‘Tequila Mockingbird’ were the clear winners. As the highest placed student team (and 3rd overall), our team ‘Dumbledore’s Army’ won a prize of gift vouchers. It was the second year in a row that we have competed in the quiz.
Overall, the event was particularly enjoyable as it was attended by a variety of ages, which meant that a range of topics could be covered, from One Direction to the Persian Empire. We also enjoyed a lovely meal prepared by the school canteen staff and everyone took part in a raffle.
We look forward to next year’s quiz and hope that we will be back from university to win the overall quiz.
