We are delighted to report that we had a very successful outcome at the Gatsby benchmarks evaluation meeting with the Careers and Enterprise Company on Tuesday 26th March.
This means that our school’s Careers programme has been graded as having met all of the 8 benchmarks:
- A stable careers programme
- Learning from career and labour market
- Addressing the needs of each pupil
- Linking curriculum learning to careers
- Encounters with employers and employees
- Experiences of workplaces
- Encounters with further and higher education
- Personal guidance
Only 1 in 5 schools have gained this award and so we would like to thank everyone involved in the wide range of activities that have helped us with this achievement. This includes parents, former students, governors, local and national businesses and other friends of the school.
It is a genuine team effort and one that gives our students amazing opportunities year after year.
We look forward to continuing to offer an outstanding programme and to working with our various partners in the future.
