Further to the article below, which we posted last month, Holly Waddington has now won an Oscar and has been nominated for a Costume Designers Guild Award for her spectacular creations in the film. A truly outstanding triumph.

You may have seen in the news that Holly Waddington won the 2024 BAFTA Award for Costume Design for her work on the film, Poor Things.
Holly, a former student of Clitheroe Royal Grammar School, has fond memories of her time at our school where she studied English Language, Classical Civilisation and Art at A Level. A trip to Buttermere in the Lake District drawing and painting watercolours of natural forms is one of her fondest memories of her time here.
