Throughout 2022-23, several Year 9 students have been reading and judging a selection of books for the Lancashire Book of the Year award. We were lucky enough to take 8 students to UCLAN in Preston to hear the authors speak and ask them questions. The students had a brilliant day and even got their books signed by the authors, including the winner, Cynthia Murphy.
