Today in the Nest, Mrs Crow and Mrs Kinney had a Period Party!
All students were invited to come along to see what period products school has available. There were lots of conversations about periods, how to cope with them, and the pros and cons of each product.
It was lovely to see so many students supporting their peers and helping to remove any shame or stigma about periods. Mrs Crow and Mrs Kinney now have a much clearer idea of the products needed by students.
Students can access free period products in the toilets at all times and we will be hosting another Period Party next half-term. We hope to see lots more students coming along for the free products and cake!
