On 27th April, 2022 more than 60 Year 12 students attended our annual Oxbridge Conference in the Lecture Theatre at York Street. The morning featured several activities and talks designed to help students to prepare to make an application to either Cambridge or Oxford Universities.
Highlights included a Question and Answer session involving current Year 13 students who have received offers to study at either Cambridge or Oxford, group discussions based on complex moral issues and difficult problem-solving, and an interview designed to replicate what happens in admissions interviews at Oxbridge colleges.
Later in the summer term, students will have the opportunity to take part in Open Day activities, both in person and remotely, at Oxford or Cambridge, as part of our intensive programme of preparations for their applications in October.
