All our Year 9 students recently completed the British Heart Foundation’s ‘Heart Start’ training course.
Students learnt how to perform CPR, place a casualty in the recovery position, make an emergency telephone call, support someone having a heart attack, treat wounds and prevent choking. Year 11 and 12 students helped Year 9 students on the day and we now have another 150 young people who have the skills necessary to help save lives.
