GCSE Results 2016

We are delighted with the excellent results achieved by our students this year. They have worked incredibly hard and have made outstanding progress in their time at Clitheroe Royal Grammar School.

At GCSE the % of A* to B grades achieved was over 89% with more than 58% of grades at A* and A. Over 87% of students achieved at least 8 GCSEs at A* to B which is a fantastic achievement.

We are very proud of our students and our staff and know how hard everyone has worked to achieve these impressive results. All of our students have achieved highly and we are delighted that they are enrolling for further study at A Level.

Eleven students, George Barnes, Oliver Barsby, Christopher Holmes, Anna Hunt, Javaid Iqbal, Andrea Johnson, Peter Johnstone, Amy Ridehalgh, Jeevtesh Soni, Holly Williams and Ayma Zubairy, gained 8 or more A* grades which is an outstanding achievement. A further 54 students were successful in gaining 8 or more A* and A grades.

We wish all our students every success in the future.
