Main School Open Week

Monday 13th – Friday 17th September 2021

Are you keen to learn more about our school?

Are you considering seeking a place for your child for September 2022?

Are you interested in visiting and seeing our school community at work?

For parents/carers, children and families interested in entry to Year 7 in 2022, we are holding an Open Week in September 2021. This replaces our usual “Open Evening” event.

The school will be open for pre-booked, socially-distanced “bubble” tours with current students, from Monday 13th September to Friday 17th September 2021 inclusive.  Places are limited and you can secure your tour by contacting the Main School office on 01200 423379 and asking to speak with our Admissions team.

In addition, we will hold Open Week webinars on Wednesday 15th September 2021 at 5.30pm and 6.30pm.  At these online events you will have the opportunity to learn more about the school context, admissions process, our school curriculum and community.  You will hear from staff and students and there will be an opportunity to ask any questions you may have.  You can register now for one of the Zoom webinars.  Please choose by clicking either Webinar 1 at 5.30pm or Webinar 2 at 6.30pm.  After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining.

Our school website is rich in information about our school, our partnerships and our wider community.  Please take some time to explore the varied sections and resources.  It will give you a flavour of what we value, the student experience and the facilities and support available to all.  If reading more about our school prompts any questions, please email mainschool@crgs.org.uk at any time and we will be very happy to help.

In addition, to gain a flavour of our school and events over the last year, why not view our Christmas Celebration, our Commemoration Day event and our Virtual Tour.

If your son/daughter has any questions about being a student in our school, one of our Year 7 Transition Champions would be delighted to help them.  Questions can be emailed to transitionchampions@crgs.org.uk and one of the team will be in touch.

Thank you again for your interest in our school.  We very much look forward to meeting you.
