We offer an extensive range of extra-curricular activities and we encourage students to take full advantage of these opportunities. We are fortunate in having a talented and committed staff who give so generously of their time to support students in activities outside the classroom. There are team activities, individual pursuits, trips and residential visits covering many aspects of the curriculum to enrich students’ education and personal development. A current programme of lunchtime and afterschool activities can be found below. This is updated each half term.
We also have a number of other opportunities available in school including student-led societies and groups such as Young Enterprise, Duke of Edinburgh and Charity Committee. Students should consult the display of student-led societies as advertised in school and the notices in the weekly student bulletin regarding additional opportunities which are offered over the course of the school year.

"An impressive range of enrichment activities and experiences enhance students’ skills and qualities very well indeed.
"Students say how much they appreciate all of these activities and experiences. They indicate that they would be major reasons behind their recommendations to other students to come to Clitheroe Royal Grammar School."
