Year 10 Transition Mentoring Team

We would like to begin by introducing ourselves.  We are a group of Year 10 students who have formed the Transition Mentoring Team.   Our aim is to help and support you as you make the transition from your primary school to Clitheroe Royal Grammar School.  We began our work in January when we hosted a student conference to talk about the transition process.

Students from Brigshaw High School and Skipton Girls’ High School visited CRGS and we spent a day learning from each other and thinking about the issues Year 6 pupils face when moving to a secondary school. Clitheroe Royal Grammar School is a fantastic place to learn and we thoroughly enjoy coming to school every day.  We know that you will receive a really warm welcome and make lots of new friends, but understand that you will probably have lots of questions about your new school.  We have tried to anticipate some of your questions and have provided answers to them below

You will get the chance to meet us at the New Entrants’ Evening and the New Entrants’ morning.  In the meantime, please look at our FAQ section and if you have any other questions we have not covered, then please complete the online form so that we will be able to answer your question.
