Last month, a group of Sixth Form students took part in the Mathematical Olympiad for Girls.
Lucy Collinson (Year 12), Anna Dabrowska (Year 13) and Charlotte Thompson (Year 13) all achieved distinctions in the olympiad which consisted of a 2½-hour paper.
Two further students, Bailey Hurst and Tanya Philip (both in Year 13), achieved merits.
