We are delighted that former Clitheroe Royal Grammar School student, Jon Schofield, has won an Olympic medal at the Rio Olympics 2016. Congratulations to Jon – we are very proud of his achievements. Jon and his partner, Liam Heath, won a Silver medal in the men’s 200m Kayak Double.
After winning his Bronze medal in the London 2012 Olympics, Jon visited our school to share his success with our students and also performed the official opening of our Sports Hall in November 2014.
