On Monday, 6th June, Year 12 student, Francesca Moriarty, was presented with a Lord Lieutenant’s Certificate of Merit for her service in the Army Cadet Force. Francesca’s family and friends and Mr Powell (Deputy Headteacher and Head of Sixth Form) attended the event which was held at Towneley Hall, Burnley.
In deciding who should receive The Certificate of Merit, the criterion of exceptional service is the principal factor. Congratulations to Francesca for showing such decidation and commitment to the ACF as well as working hard for her AS Levels and contributing to the life of the CRGS Sixth Form.
