On Friday 20th November, the Main School Hall was the venue for a very enjoyable family quiz night organised by the Association of the Friends of CRGS. The quiz was very well attended by students and staff. The winners were a family team (Harrisons on the Edgerton of Glory), with a staff team (The 4 Mustquizeers) hot on their heels in second place. The numerous student teams also put in strong performances, with ‘Not Enough Vowels’, a Sixth Form student team, being the highest placed (in fourth place overall).
At the half-time interval, a delicious hot barbeque was served and this was enjoyed by all. Samuel Naughton-Baldwin, Head Boy at Main School, did an excellent job as Quizmaster, receiving a round of applause and a box of chocolates at the end.
We look forward to the 2016 quiz – which will be organised by the winning team.
